Sunday, August 24, 2003 at 9:08:00 PM hihi...well i think i want to change my blog layout again b/c i dont like the amount of space that is left blank on the right side of my blog page. however, i will wait a couple weeks to change it’s cuz im too lazy XP...you know, recently i have been internet shopping. i have never bought anything off the internet b4...i dont know why...then i discovered the magic and now i am broke! yay! i got the complete anime series of X off ebay. then i went to mygiftworld.com and bought two art books: yukiru sugisaki’s new dn angel art book and the CLAMP X-zero art book. now i am happy (and again, not to mention, broke)! ^_^; heh...oh yeah! before i forget! i must make something clear. my friend brought up the fact that my blog concentrates too much on anime/manga related stuff...oks, i told her (and i am telling you) that is b/c that is what my blog is based on. that is why almost all the links are anime/manga related. this blog is dedicated to it. i mean sure, something really interesting might happen and i’ll write about it, but this is primarily an anime/manga related blog. if you don't like it, don’t read it. that’s all i have to say. i’m not being either, just straight forward, oks?...hmmm. i worked on writing up the story for the manga my friends and i are going to make. my friend eunice gave me the basic storyline, but she left the dialogue and character actions up to me. the reason for her doing so is b/c her english isn’t that gewd. as a matter of fact when i met her for the first time about 2 years ago she spoke barely any english! (she’s from hong kong). her story idea is really good! i have had lots of fun playing with the dialogue! my friend wai man (eunice’s real name) is also a really good manga artist (but she would never admit it, she’s so modest!). in my opinion she is even better than some of the professionals i have seen. she really has a promising future in the field. not only is she good at drawing people and creatures, she is also good at drawing backgrounds. she is even really good at drawing traditional art, she was at the head of the class...no, the entire school! (not exaggerating!). of course, she loves manga and anime (she recommended a couple to me). she is (obviously) going to be the main artist of the manga. my friend liberty is the art assistant (she’s good too), christel is in charge of the background. i am in charge of screentones and story writing/editing. other people have various other jobs like layout and inking. it’s only going to be one novel. with our busy school schedules that is all we can do. our reasons for creating this manga is because number 1 it’s fun and number 2...well, my friends and i haven’t been impressed with the american manga artist...lets just say they’re not “up to par” with japaneseartists ::cough::understatement::cough:: we want to show america that an unofficial manga group from america can make a good looking manga! ::eyes sparkle with determination:: i will put our groups website up soon (however, we just got started so there isn’t much on there). part of the story text should be up soon so if your interested you can see what it’s about. sorry i don't feel like explaining it...::yawns:: wow i wrote a long entry today. i think i am going to stop for today. its been nice. ttyl. bai-bai.
