let me update you about my trip to canada. i went to canada and completely went crazy buying anime related stuff. their dollar is worth less than ours so i...uh...got a little carried away...i bought the complete series of chobits for something like $30 U.S. dollars. the subtitling is pretty good too! the only thing is ::cough:: i don’t think their entirely legal ::cough::. however, i am still planning to buy the legal version too. i was just in disbelief of the price (i was madly figuring out the currency conversion on my calculator). i really lucked out because the anime store was literally right next to the hotel. all i had to do was take the elevator down to the second level and walk through a door to this shopping mall and there it was. i also bought 3 posters for like $2 per. i got a really nice X poster, a chobits poster (they had a bunch), and a reaaaallly nice saiyuki poster for my friend (they had a bunch of those too). i also got a fruits basket drama cd for about $10. i got a chobits key chain and i think that is about it (that is all my money i had). oh they had so much more too, i could easily have blown a $100 more. they had art books, wall scrolls, posters, cds, anime, key chains, and figurines. all for so damn cheap! i almost popped from excitement. good times. vancouver was a blast. i want to go again. i loved their fashion and just the atmosphere of the city.
